Dr. Brooke Stroud
Vice Chair
Brooke Stroud, PsyD. is a clinical psychologist at the Center for Cognitive Therapy and Assessment where she specializes in treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and failure to launch in young adults.
Dr. Stroud received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at George Washington University. She received a master’s degree in Social Psychology at the London School of Economics. She attended Boston College for her undergraduate degree in Human Development and English, and The Madeira School. Dr. Stroud is currently the President of the Franklin L. Stroud M.D. Foundation, and has served as a trustee at area schools and charities, including St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School, The Madeira School, the Citizens Association of Georgetown, and the Montrose Park foundations.
Dr. Stroud lives in Washington, DC with her husband, three children, two dogs and two cats. She is an avid gardener, reader, cook, entertainer and traveler. She is committed to social justice and equity, and lifelong learning.
