Celebrating the Return of the Canal Boat
The Georgetown Heritage Board of Directors, and co-chairs Heather Muir Johnson and Brooke Stroud - along with our partners from the National Park Service, the District of Columbia, and the Georgetown BID - want to thank all who joined us or contributed to our April 28, 2022 event commemorating the arrival of our new Canal boat!
The evening was a great success, and we were thrilled to welcome Mayor Bowser, Councilmember Brooke Pinto, and other special guests to christen the boat, before enjoying live music, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres along the Canal, and touring the new boat.
