Volunteer
It takes a village to help keep our park clean! Georgetown Heritage hosts Canal Clean-Up days throughout the year. We are always eager to connect with volunteers who are willing to remove trash from the Canal, the towpath, and the surrounding park area. Georgetown Heritage will provide trash bags, masks, gloves, nets, and pickers. We just need you!
Group and individual volunteers are subject to federal requirements and other regulations:
Volunteers must fill out a registration form, which will be provided. Group leaders can fill out one form for all adults.
Volunteers under 18 years of age must have an individual registration form signed by a parent/ guardian.
